  • New Website!

    New Website!

Welcome to our new Website! We’ve made a couple slight changes to our website in order to help make the browsing experience a bit easier.

    What’s new?

    • Our Homepage now shows our upcoming events, sorted by Date!
    • Our Events page now shows ALL upcoming events, including those in future months.
    • Our past events are easier to find. Rather than searching for them using a calendar, you may now find our past event history here in list form!
    • You may now add events from our website into your calendar for easy reminders and planning (via Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Thunderbird, etc).
    • Not a social media user? That’s totally fine! You may now subscribe to our calendar on our Events page (see the bottom of the page) to automatically have new events added to your calendar. You can also utilize a robot capable of ingesting our calendar to post our events to your favorite Chat application (but please do not be Claude and request the same content 200 times a second. Your bot will get blocked).
    • The website has less obnoxious widgets to impede your browsing experience. Cleaner and to the point!
    • We also have another domain! You may now visit https://aacawny.org/ to reach our website.

With that said, because our site re-design did involve some significant behind the scenes changes, you might’ve noticed our website has a few broken links if you are coming from Google, Bing, or your favorite Search engine. We changed our URL structure for our events to make them more friendly for you, and search engines, and Large Language Models to understand what the page is about from the start. In time, those broken links will disappear. For now, what you’re probably looking for is in our “Events” section at the top of this website.

We’re glad you’re here, and we look forward to seeing you at our events, and working together to support our community in Western New York! If you would like to contact us about our website with suggestions on how to improve it (please no soliciting – constructive feedback only), our events, or about becoming a volunteer, visit our Contact page.
